And that’s where I don’t understand your logic: you recognize yourself that many users still use and appreciate V4.5, but you still decide to delete it in favor of V6. Then you tell us not to worry because it would be enough to specify in the prompt that we want the rendering of V4.5. But if it was really equivalent, why remove V4.5?

Suno was good while it lasted. There are over 25 other AI music gen systems out there. I’ll be researching the best ones over the weekend and will be making the switch.

V6 is garbage. Completely ignores prompts. No diversity in melody. Completely useless. I’ve tried every prompt version I can think of. Run off over a hundred credits of the same song with varied prompts. No difference at all. The Variety slider just sends suno’d AI off like a raccoon looking for a meal in a bass pro. If u can’t fix it, I’ll be canceling my account and u would encourage everyone else to do so as well.

Are the people complaining about 6.0 really used it? What are people on about? 6.0 has very good sound quality. I remixed one of my tracks made in 5 and I was blown away. Plus 6-wild is creative...maybe these people don't know how to prompt

It is clear from the way you speak about the older models that you are sad about losing them, especially since they were the best ones. It seems like the music industry forced you to reduce the quality of AI-generated music. Please bring back the older models. I can see that many of us are unhappy with the new ones. They really are much, much worse and far below our expectations.

90% of the people who are complaining about v6 are people who are using Suno to defraud legitimate artists by diluting the royalty pool. Instead of utilising Suno as a creative tool which helps guide the artists decision making and instead of using Suno to generate ideas or samples etc. They want Suno to be a one click machine so that they can do zero work and release thousands of generic songs at the expense of actual musicians.

Please avoid spending your money or credits on suno till they either patch v6 to be decent, maybe v7 or if by any chance they bring back v 5.5. Otherwise you’d just be diving into a credit burning machine, cuz they definitely didn’t bother to teach us the proper way to prompt the songs and lyrics. And SINCE we now need to fuking prompt every damn line in the lyrics. 5000 characters IS NOT enough.

They are “retiring” the other models because they were trained illegally on copywritten songs without permission and now they got sued so they have to get rid of it. And v6 sucks because they don’t have all that copyright material to train their stuff on.

I like suno still, I am a bit sad about the download limit but overall its an excellent app, I just wish they can add a Mashup button on mobile than I will be a bit impressed. but I do like v6 its alot better, I made a new voice recording for v6 models so it can be updated aswell, And suno has been updated alot so they are doing a good job 👏.
