@mckgaston: Have you ever gotten wet around your plants and wondered where it came from? Chances are it was excess water pushed through the plant in a process called Guttation. Guttatjon is the process where a plant pushes out drops of liquid water from the tips or edges of its leaves! It’s a sign of a healthy plant that is releasing excess pressure built up, especially over night. Roots keep absorbing water at night but stomata are closed so the water is released through hydathodes. 💧 Which plants have you seen dripping droplets from guttation? 💧
