(Small detail, but Quakers are so different from the Amish, I am a Quaker engineer 😅 there’s certainly a spectrum of Quaker practice but afaik no branch is eschewing technology en masse)

decades ago I was doing past life audits under hypnosis and I once found myself viewing a future life. yes, tech was there but it was very much in the background and was working in support of humanity. we were living in balance and harmony with each other and with the planet. I am SOFA KING ready for that. however, I don't expect to see that in this lifetime but we absolutely need to pursue that goal. no billionaires!!

All tech are just tools and how these tools are used is up to the users, but if we don't use them in the right way then we don't get the desired result. Societal problems are human problems, so when you put the well being of tech before well being of humans you've forgetten the entire point of tech in the first place

I’m not tech at all, I’m an artistic creative homemaker who resells part time. My partner absolutely is tech based career. I was telling him I’m afraid I’m going to have to learn to sew or bake or cut the heads of chickens off 🤣
