I live between the fire and the lake. Watched dozens of them fly over back and forth and was throughly confused until the news finally reported on it. Thankful everyone made it out safely and praying for the ones that lost their homes.

so you live pretty close to my mother-in-law, she literally called me yesterday in a panic about a fire only about 9 miles from her house and she sent me video of the planes flying over her house

Our okie firefighters, both our municipal and volunteer departmenets,, are pretty amazing. I'm in East Cleveland county and the Folks at Cedar Country VFD are some remarkable folks.

@frisksmama:few years ago here in California woke up one morning with an orange glow coming through my blinds . Opened the drapes in the whole sky is orange it is so surreal to see the sky like that. the forest fire wasn't even that close to us

im glad no one was hurt. parywrs for the family of the wellston firefighter that passed away. he had a medical emergency during their fire. stay safe to all the first responders.
