almost didn't buy anything for the last 6 weeks, worked every Saturday, budgeted everything and even took it easy during my vacation only for the next few weeks to come. I just hope it was worth it bc my partner was a little annoyed when I stepped on the breaks everytime, especially during our vacation where we usually don't really have a budget😂

The lesson from yesterdays oil shocks shouldn’t be “Europe needs more Middle Eastern oil.” It should be the opposite: diversify.
In 2024, the EU’s biggest crude-oil suppliers were the US (14.9%) and Norway (14.0%), followed by Kazakhstan. Saudi Arabia supplied 7.4%, Iraq 6.0% and Libya 7.4%.
The future is more suppliers, more domestic energy, more renewables, and less vulnerability to any single region controlling the price of energy.
