@itsmesaramartinez: Can we all agree that coming up with lunch ideas for your kids is TIRING? 🙃 So I’m building a lunch library — a running list of easy kid lunches I can actually pull from, everything from no-cook lunch ideas to the ones I make a big batch of, freeze, and reheat to make my life easier. Lunch Library, Ep. 2: Cheesy BBQ Chicken Squares What you’ll need: 2 cans crescent dough sheets 1 bag (2 cups) shredded Colby Jack ¾ cup rotisserie chicken, chopped small 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce Olive oil spray Garlic powder and dried parsley Extra BBQ sauce, for dipping How to make it: Heat the oven to 375°F and line a quarter sheet pan (or 9x13) with parchment Unroll one crescent sheet into the pan and press it toward the edges Sprinkle 1 cup Colby Jack over the dough, leaving a ½-inch bare border all the way around Chop ¾ cup rotisserie chicken really small and scatter it over the cheese Drizzle 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce over the chicken in a zigzag Cover with the remaining 1 cup Colby Jack so the chicken is mostly hidden Lay the second crescent sheet on top, stretch it to the edges, and press the edges together to seal Spray the top with olive oil, sprinkle on garlic powder and parsley, and poke it a few times with a fork Bake 20–23 minutes, until deep golden brown Rest 10 minutes, then cut into 16 squares #creatorsearchinsights #kidslunchideas #lunchforkids #toddlerlunch #easylunchideas
