UPDATE: I’m back at the hospital again. 💔 The pain and swelling in my face got so bad again that I had to come back. At this point I am exhausted, frustrated, hurting, and just ready to get the dental treatment I need. First, THANK YOU to everybody who has shown me love. Whether you donated $1, $5, $10, shared my video, shared my GoFundMe, left an encouraging comment, prayed for me, or simply checked on me, THANK YOU. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. ❤️ Every single person who has helped me has made me feel a little less alone in this. But to the people purposely leaving nasty comments calling me a beggar or trying to make me feel embarrassed for asking for help: please save your breath. You will be blocked. I am not going back and forth with anybody while I am literally sitting in a hospital in pain. If you were experiencing this level of pain, your face kept swelling, you couldn’t afford the treatment you were quoted, your insurance couldn’t get you into a dentist for months, and you didn’t have somebody who could simply hand you thousands of dollars to fix everything, you would be trying to find help too. Yes, I’m asking people for help. And I’m not ashamed of that. I’m not going to sit around suffering because somebody on TikTok thinks asking for help is embarrassing. I’m going to advocate for myself and do everything I reasonably can to get treatment. I’m especially concerned because I’ve previously had a procedure involving my heart. I’m not saying that my dental problem has spread to my heart or that it definitely wil…. I don’t know that, and I’m at the hospital so medical professionals can evaluate what’s happening. But recurring facial swelling and severe pain are enough for me to take this seriously. I’m not willing to ignore my symptoms simply because I can’t afford the dental bill. Nobody is obligated to give me a penny. If you don’t want to donate, that’s completely okay. Keep scrolling. But being cruel to somebody who’s already hurting isn’t helping anybody. And to everybody who can’t donate but has been sharing my video, PLEASE know that I appreciate you too.
