WHEN TRADING BECOMES AN IDOL 📖 “No one can serve two masters… You cannot serve both God and money.” — Matthew 6:24 That verse hits differently when you’re a trader. Because trading itself isn’t the problem. Money isn’t automatically the problem. The question is: Who is actually in control of your heart? It’s easy to say “God first” when you’re winning. But what happens when you lose? When you blow an account? When funding disappears? When a winning streak ends? When you suddenly feel like you NEED to make the money back? Sometimes that urgency exposes what we’ve quietly started serving. Trading can become an idol when your mood depends on your P&L. When being funded determines your confidence. When a loss ruins your entire day. When you cannot walk away because making the money back feels more important than protecting your peace. 📖 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 The victory isn’t always making the money back. Sometimes the victory is closing the charts. Accepting the loss. Taking no trade. Coming back tomorrow with a clear mind. Because my identity is not “trader.” I am a child of God who happens to trade. A green day doesn’t make God love me more. A red day doesn’t make Him love me less. So before opening the charts, pray. Before checking your P&L, check your heart. Before chasing what you lost, remember Who you’re serving. God first. Everything after. Always. ✝️ ALL GLORY TO GOD! 🙏🏽 #ChristianTrader #GodFirst #WorshipWednesday #DayTrading #TradingPsychology
