@superspeedgolf: 🚨Strength doesn’t automatically equal speed. Dylan Frittelli is a perfect example. In 2019, Dylan ranked 146th on the PGA TOUR in driving distance. He had spent years getting stronger in the gym, but that strength wasn’t translating into more speed on the course. In coordination with trainer/performance coach Nic Catterall they changed the approach. Instead of simply getting stronger, they layered speed including SuperSpeed Golf on top of the strength he had already built with the right timing, lower volume, fewer reps and a focus on producing speed he could actually control. The result? 291 → 309 yards. An 18-yard increase in one season, the biggest year-over-year gain on the PGA TOUR that year, by 7 yards over anyone else. Dylan jumped all the way to 18th in driving distance, ranking as the 7th-largest year-over-year driving distance gain on the PGA TOUR since 2000. Getting stronger is only part of the equation. If the strength you build in the gym isn’t showing up in your golf swing, you may need to train the body to express that strength as speed. That’s where speed training comes in. 📽 cattogolf IG
