We call whatever it says on the package! Ask the manufacturer why they call it Italian bread. I’ve never been to Italy. I don’t know what kind of bread do you have?

We call many things Italian bread. It’s marketing from the 1990s anything with a European associated name sold well. French bread, etc.

That’s funny but that bread changed!! Growing up it was really good. Of course we always had Italian bread from the bakery but we did use the fake Italian bread for sandwiches. I would never eat it now!

@Jashi if ur being serious, our sandwich bread is white bread usually. the ones labeled Italian bread are an enriched dough and include an oil ... roughly like pane all'olio . so they are two different things ur showing

That “Italian” bread does not taste like the regular American bread it tastes closer to an Italian loaf of bread but has all the American chemicals 😂😂😂 Try it and the American bread, like wonder bread and you’ll see it’s different!
