Danika is actually my favorite character in that book next to Lehabah. Yeah what she did was hard and hurtful, but she did it out of love. It was never for selfish reasons. She was never hiding things for a bad reason. she was doing it to protect everyone she loved.

I genuinely believe that Danika did everything she could to protect everyone around her. Did she go about it the right way? Maybe not, but she genuinely wanted to make sure everyone was happy. But I also understand Bryce’s POV because she felt like so much was kept from her, that she didn’t feel like she really knew her.
