25 years of missed birthdays, graduations, weddings, Christmas’s, births, mother’s and father’s days, and all the other everyday things in life we take for granted. The greatest thing we could do in honor of these people is come together again as a country.

My grandfather worked in one of the towers, and if he hadn’t forgotten his medication at home and had to go back for it, I would have only known him through pictures. Every September 11th, my grandfather would cry because he had lost a best friend who worked with him in the tower. His friend told him, “Don’t come back,” and after that, there was no more sound on the call he made to my grandfather that day. My grandfather always told us that story 😔😔🕊️

The way I would've ran down those 91 flights of stairs the second I heard that World Trade Center 1 got hit by a plane. So heartbreaking :/
