@pharmacisttherapist and girls didn't get diagnosed because symptoms didn't match and that's why at 44yrs old I finally got a Dr who listened and *shocker* guess who has adhd....

I was on desoxyn for my adhd from 2007-2013…yes I know what it is and it made me tired surprisingly

It was obvious that I had ADHD as a girl but that was a time when girls weren't diagnosed unless there was something severe and it was usually called something else then. boys were diagnosed. My life would probably be very different if I had been medicated as a child. I still managed to be a straight A student but I struggled with a lot that other ADHD people you guys know. I don't have to explain all that to you. I am diagnosed now.

Back in the 70s I was given a medication called Cyclert I do believe it was the same type of medication

So my question is , so USA was ahead compared to other countries on ADHD. Cause I was born late 70s and back in the 80s and 90s Germany didn’t diognesed girls or teenager with ADHD was more boys only had ADHD. Not living under a rock I just knew Germany was different were I grew up and was raised .
