My $7,000 pure bred bernedoodle was health tested and came from amazing lines. His genetics are completely predictable and exactly what they said he would be. If he was “unethical” why was he so expensive??? JOKING lmao he’s a rescue. I said I’d never own a doodle but I found him at a shelter.

Shocked to hear this perspective from someone that doesn’t work in vetmed. But YES this is what we’ve BEEN saying. Nothing wrong with an ethical breeder, adopt if it works for you. But I am yet to find an ethical doodle breeder. They are one of the most common breeds to end up needing our behaviorist.
