I may or may not have ignored the first two jurry summons I got in the mail and nothing happened. I told myself if I ever got a third I’d do the right thing but it’s been like a decade and I’ve never gotten another (allegedly)

I never showed to my first jury duty and nothing happened, just got summoned to another one 6 months later

If they say it’s not good enough to be excused you can write them saying you WILL serve at xyz date but can’t during those dates but you really want to fulfill your civic duty (milk it) I did this when I got called and had already bought Norway plane tickets
