A large portion of people who have seen my video have been searching up and harassing and threatening people who keep them without asking or searching for a lick of information or context. Like I have stated: there are people who have them as rescues, people who didn’t know they were bad because the breeders lied to them and it’s not talked about enough, people who know fireflies are bad but who were lied to by breeders, etc. Nothing is black and white, and taking this video and running to search for any and everyone with a firefly, or even people who have merely drawn ART of fireflies, and telling them they should be physically harmed is vile and does nothing to help the animals. If you do this, you are sick and twisted, and above all else stupid. I have had multiple people reach out to me saying they’ve been harassed, two of which as I’m writing this have had to private/deactivate their accounts because it became too much. All of whom were advocates AGAINST the breeding of fireflies, some of whom had rescues. You are not an animal lover if you behave this way, because are making it where people who speak out against this kind of mistreatment and who house rescued babies that have suffered no longer feel they can speak about/do so. Learn to read, research, dissect information, how to critically think, and to ask questions to gain information. Do not associate with me if you act this way, and stop this madness at once. Saw three or four “Glo” axolotls at a reptile expo a month or so ago. I walked up to the bin and immediately cringed. Had a closer look and immediately noticed that one of them DIDNT HAVE EYES. I literally had to point it out to the seller. He just kind went “oh yeah, youre right, it doesnt have eyes”. How the fuck did you not notice??
