my cat will only use clothes material so I emptied her litter box and designated 6 sacraficial towels and out 2 at a time in there that I wash with an enzyme cleaner. we dont have accidents any more

pet store employee here! 1 the cat might not like the texture of the litter or it is scented. 2 Some cats like have 2 litter boxes, rule of thumb usually 1 box per cat and 1 extra. 3 Calming treats or pheromone diffuser like feliway. 4 I got a bin and hand sanitizer right next to the box, everytime I walk past i scoop, multiple times a day. Some cats need it completely empty 5 they sell litter attractant you can add to the litter. 6 always clean messes with enzymatic cleaner so they dont smell the previous mess and think that spot is now a bathroom. (i like NokOut) I hope this helps 💞

Your 4 feet section has helped me unbury my living room and kitchen. Between mental health, a herniated (slipped) disk, other people's health/lives being at risk and helping with family, I had fallen so far behind and I felt like a zombie in my house and couldn't do anything. I could clean/maintain at other people's houses, but not at mine. Now I have a clean living room and kitchen is in the works (dishes take a long time when back acts up). The next big one, is the bedroom, but for that, I will need totes, vacuum seal storage bags and time.

1 cat should have 2 cat boxes. try different litter types. mine use wood pellets over the clay. no pee smell. the wood hides it sooo well. full dump once a week :)

A big (should be 1.5x length of the cat ideally) but low litterbox with the finest sand type litter (clumping) is best for picky cats! (or any cats really)

For anyone who has trouble visualizing what 4 ft might look like and gets overwhelmed: your fully extended arms are approximately the same as your height, wrist to wrist is *roughly* 4 ft on shorter people. You're just cleaning your personal space bubble!

I use cardboard in a cat box for my girl who can't stand litter. Amazon is kind enough to keep my supplies with that. I just drop a single flat piece of cardboard in the box every day. GAME CHANGER.

We use pee pads for our cat that hates litter. We have a few in litter boxes. But some are directly on the floor. Works great!

for the cat problem they could get tissue litter also known as kitten litter as it doesn't irritate the paws or they could get a fake grass section, like some dog owners who live in flats

For the cat...I used a cat pheromone plug in. Use it in the room with the litter box. Some cats super picky. I had one that would only use the litter box if fresh. Before the plug in I had to clean everytime she used the box. The plug in allowed me to just do daily scoopping. without messes. Hope this helps

If the cat is declawed, have a vet check their paws. I had a cat that was declawed when I got it, and whoever declawed it did a botched job and left like little pockets that didn’t fully heal, and when I used the cheap litter, that litter would fill in those pockets and it would hurt, so I’d have to take her to the vet, have them sedate her, clean out those pockets, and then only use a specific type of litter; otherwise, she was using my clothes
