@ryleewilliams_: This is where vanlifers use the restroom 👇🏽🚽👀 One of the questions people ask when they find out I live in a van full time is… “Okay, but WHERE do you go to the bathroom?” 😂 Our van does have a toilet, but we try to avoid using it unless we really need to. So instead, we use bathrooms at places like… ⛺ Campgrounds
⛽ Truck stops & rest areas
🛒 Walmart & Target
🥾 Trailheads & national parks
☕ Coffee shops & restaurants Basically, when you live in a van, you get VERY good at knowing where the public bathrooms are. 😂 Leave a comment with any questions you have about vanlife ⤵️ #vanlifetravel #vanlifeliving #nomad

There’s apps that help you find public restrooms 🫶

✨Positively Kristen✨ :

I have a van, but I’m not full time…..but I’m just the opposite, I have a bathroom in the van and I’m gonna use it. Public restrooms are gross 😬

wonderdoormat :

What kind of toilet do you have?

JacLynHobey :

We have a toilet in our school bus, so that’s what I use! 😂 I’m not a fan of public bathrooms, so having our own is one of my favorite things about our house on wheels. We just empty it when we need to.

God is not real never forget :

I would just use a bucket with a bag and kitty litter as a last Resort. That toilet is for decoration and visitors.

Socorro - were you there for Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge? The Sandhill cranes are amazing to see in the winter

coolgrandpa63 :

5 gallon bucket with a pool noodle

Cristi M :

I do a little of both. Sometimes my old body doesn’t have the wherewithal to say, wow I have to go, let me wait to go to a restroom. When I gotta go, I gotta go. Lmao. But I do use public toilets as much as I can

johnthompsonnunu :

If your in the woods, just go then bury it, in the city lay down some newspaper, go then fold the newspaper up put in plastic bag dispose of.

Well ! Good to know ! Thanks🙏 blessings on all

cbtdbt :

Found this bad boy for half of the cost of a used van in my city. It technically is still a van. Full bathroom too not some little one in the back.
