Those are also over 1400 because with the newer Mazdas they have to recalibrate the cameras and stuff was quoted upwards of 1400 almost everywhere for a 2024 cx30

What insurance do you have? Same thing happened to me, 3 weeks in and a rock hit my windshield. 😭 I have a 2026 Mazda CX5 and to replace them it’s really expensive. Fortunately my insurance approved OEM and I was able to replace it through Mazda which was almost $1900 but thankfully I only had to pay my insurance $50 for the comprehensive glass coverage. Mazda had my car for 3 days cause they wanted to make sure that it stayed on and no water got on it…I also got a lender from them and not my insurance. Anytime you service through them you get a lender. Also, I did have to wait a week for them to order my windshield cause they don’t have them in stock.

When you get your windshield installed, get a forward and backward dash cam! I got mine for $150 and $150 to install. Not sure if it would've helped here, but it can in other scenarios

When you talk to your insurance company, you tell them you don’t want an aftermarket windshield, you want a factory windshield. This happened to my daughter and she got an OEM windshield. Not an aftermarket that like Safelite has.

Do you have glass coverage or just comprehensive and what’s your deductible? Get a quote with safelite if you’re deductible is high

In Massachusetts there is no deductible on glass.

No chance fixing that, it’s a replacement if your state does vehicle inspections. Anything bigger than a quarter requires replacing in order to pass state inspection

It really sucks because I see all the time the dirt semi not covering their load and I’ve been being them they throw rocks and dirt all the time

Two cracked windshields from rocks also. Highway and trucks far ahead kicking way back. :/. Very frustrating

That absolutely sucks! It’s happened to both my husband and my daughter. I have both windshield coverage and rental coverage but u will need a body shop for that dent. Did you buy or lease a car? That makes a difference. Is the car still under warranty? You could try going back to the dealer. Good luck!

PDR can fix the dents but if the paint is gone Dent Removal and then paint should the best fix
