@rolandopujol: This the one place at the World Trade Center where you can experience life as it was here before Sept. 11, 2001. This E train subway entrance is the last surviving portion of the original complex that was destroyed 25 years ago Friday. The Port Authority preserved it and returned the corridor to its original use. @rolandopujol takes us there. #worldtradecenter #september11 #nyc
Theoretically, it’s still brings you back to the World Trade Center

Sad to think of the subway commuters that went through those doors to work that's day, and never passed back through them to go home.

You mentioned it’s the only original area we can explore. Are there still original areas we can’t explore?

I used to walk thru those doors every day. I can't do it now. 25 years later and still can't.

It's strange to think that a twist of fate changed a person's life. My mom use to work in NYC when I was a baby. She took the path from NJ everyday. Took her lunch in the graveyard of St Paul's. If my dad hadn't chosen to move the family to SC I wonder if she would have still been working in NYC on 9/11

I remember going to the mall under the towers and in 99 when I was 11 getting my ears pierced at Claire’s after spending the day at work with my mom in 7wtc before we went on the subway back to penn station to go home. It was across from the Warner brothers store
