Another important point you mentioned was “existing for your parents.” My mother would make remarks constantly about how I make her look as a parent rather than who I actually am. I am not actually a human being anymore..I do not think I ever was. I am a scoreboard of achievements. I come to accept that this is how it is. The blessing is being successful, the curse is attracting needy clingy people while also feeling alone. Disassociate and just go back to working and ignoring/avoiding people.
