for young people that might want to save money like this, I am 19 and have bought 2 cars valued at $5,000 and $6,000 and I still have about $6,000 in savings. I admit I had the privilege of not paying for rent at my parents house and only had to pay my own car insurance and gas, but I achieved it by saving 50% of my paycheck every time. working around 15-20 hrs a week at minimum wage where I live, I saved around $400 a month. Ive been doing that since I was 15
