I purchased a fake on mercari and it got me sick and the seller was mad because I opened it when it was supposed to be gifted but that was her argument why did I open it if it was a gift and I’m glad I did how embarrassing to gift a fake perfume then proceeded to say I can’t resell it like ma’am you knew it was fake lol

Mercari is the Wild West lol. I do a lot of buying on there and a little bit of selling. You really have to be diligent about pictures and researching the bottles before you buy if it’s something you’re not familiar with or something frequently faked. There are some brands that I’ve just won’t buy, regardless of who the seller is because they may not know. I’m sorry that you got taken advantage of. That’s not cool!
