In the heart of Uganda, where stray dogs face daily cruelty, abandonment, and hunger on the streets, our small private animal rescue is their last hope. We're a grassroots, volunteer-run group with no government support – just a handful of passionate locals giving everything to save as many lives as possible. Right now, we have 27 rescued dogs under our care – many dumped at our gate as tiny puppies, hit by cars, or starved nearly to death. These innocent souls have already suffered so much: skin-and-bones bodies, mange, wounds, and eyes full of fear. We've nursed them back with love, but we're in crisis. Food supplies have run out. Rising costs mean a single large bag of dry dog food (enough for several dogs for weeks) is 120,000–170,000 UGX (about $35–$50 USD), and we need dozens every month just to keep them alive. Without help, we'll be forced to turn away new rescues or worse – watch these dogs we've fought to save slowly starve. We're not a big organization; we're a small team relying 100% on donations to buy food locally and keep the gates open.
