I got a windbreaker with those types of colors! Pink base, geometric shapes sewn in with other pastel colors! One of my best thrift finds to date!

I was wearing Lady Diana’s red sweater with a lamb on it, and assorted whales with Kelly green and royal blue color combos… plus navy blue chinos, green Bermuda bags, tweed blazers, LL Bean boat shoes. Our family home was 1980s “chintz” style - like think Laura Ashley. My bedroom was a mauve and violet duvet with off white throw pillows. Many of us were very preppy and never went into the weird colors.

Every so often I forgot just how awful most of the clothes in the 80s were. I had neon orange stirrup pants. Tucked into high top reeboks. And leg warmers. And for reasons I still don’t understand, a huge chunky knit sweater with a ginormous belt.
