@enduringlongcovid: Living with chronic illness is already hard. Having to constantly prove that you are sick can make it even harder. When people dismiss your symptoms, question your limitations, or believe you are exaggerating or lying, it can affect how you cope, whether you ask for help, and even your ability to hold onto hope. People with chronic illness should not have to fight their illness and fight to be believed at the same time. Sometimes making space for someone to be sick begins with something very simple: believe them. #LongCOVID #MECFS #ChronicIllness #InvisibleIllness #flyingduringcovid
So real, thank you for talking about that . Sadly we spend the last bit of energy advocating for our own health .

Your glasses are 🔥. I love them! Thank you for this post! I’m a sometimes walker girlie. Your words are the truest of true. If I hear, “but you’re fine now, right?” any other time I will go nuts. Good days and bad days.

I hate how this is the most common experience in the chronic illness community. 💔 It’s definitely been mine. 🫂💜

I've sacrificed my last bit of wellness to system shock my body into overdrive fora procedure only for them to find nothing. now my meds are hardly able to keep up. they think I'm lying and sometimes idk what to believe any more. but I know there is something wrong. we are sick and we are real they just have no means or motivation to find it. much love to you and to everyone effected by this illness however it manifests in you. please stay strong and stay on this earth for as long as you can🫂
