Of course he knew. He was good friends with Billy Black. He probably always knew the Cullens were suspicious but didn’t want to fully agree with what Billy always said about them because it sounded crazy. Once his daughter got involved with them and he saw all the odd things that happened over the years it became a truth he couldn’t avoid.
