@chicagos.mayor: I wake up every day and go to bed every night thinking about how we can build safer communities across the city of chicago. While our work is far from complete, I’m encouraged our efforts to invest in working people has led to the dramatic declines in violence we’re experiencing in our city. I find incredible hope and strength in knowing that there are people who are collaborating with my administration to do continue doing just that.
