With all the mistakes I made, he turned out to be the best “kid” on this planet..2nd year of college.. amazing grades, amazing gf, respectful to adults, and always the “adult” in situations. One year ago, I walked in as my son attempted on his own life. I thank GOD every day that I followed my momma instinct and walked in. I am completely traumatized and unsure of the fear will ever leave. He is now a father to a one year old son and still struggling mentally. He questions if he is good enough for his son. I wonder every day if I loved him enough, if I could just love him more so he would not hurt so badly. I had him when I was 20, I was a childhood SA survivor, and childhood abuse victim, I didn’t have instructions how to raise my son and I didn’t have role models who shown me how to love. But I loved him from first pink line to this very day. I did my best but now, I just wish he could see how amazingly special he is before it’s too late.

My son is rejecting me totally at this moment. Turned 21 last week. Couldn't even be there for him. He is ignoring everything about us. Heartbreaking. God only knows how this will go. Living with his Dad after we got divorced in February. He said in my face he hates me and I'm the problem in his whole life.
