I can’t imagine. I remember firehouses in my town leaving to go help. It’s weird how the heavy feeling in me about 9/11 gets deeper as I get older like my body is maturing and realizing how bad it was.

We did the same to our kids. My Dad was in lobby when first plane hit. It took him 4 days for him to walk home. Kept the TVs off for days, we didn’t know how else to handle it. 🥺 We were lucky, we got him back. He probably didn’t feel he was lucky tho. 🥺

I was 34 when it happened. I’m almost 60 in Oct I never cried so hard in my life!! I lost a piece of me that day!! I know no one that lost lives, or firefighters, police, emergency services, but I could feel it in my soul and it hurt so much! This was real life and not an action movie!! I’m so sorry anc much love to all of you

I’ve heard him talk about his dad but I got chills when he said they didn’t know for 3 weeks. The reality is this left complete devastation and it took a very long time to recover all of the people.😭

So sad, I had just told my daughter this day makes me so sad because it affected everyone in different capacities but we are all united by being Americans and how many demonstrates their bravery and love for this country and their countrymen 🙏
