my parents just celebrated their anniversary. their honeymoon was on on 9/11. my mom was still in the airforce so they had to leave. immediately and drive all the way back home. they had just woke up and walked down stairs to see the news and got into the car and drove.

I remember when I was younger my parents let me and my step siblings stay up and watch the 9/11 documentary and we had to turn it off because we started crying and to this day I can't finish it because it makes me so sad.
