It’s called kyphosis! Look up kyphosis correction exercises on YouTube! It will take consistency but will work. *signed a 6’3” girly who used to have rounded shoulders.

It’s Kyphosis and I’m in my 30s and have had it since I was a kid and correct it but it always comes back. It’s painful to correct.

I read something that said to imagine you’re shooting lasers from your boobs and it’s honestly been helping me out

2 months into correcting my posture (at 5’10”) and already see a huge difference. Be consistent! 🫶

Any time I catch my posture walking past a mirror … I’ve always been mortified and knew it was from being taller than everyone but didn’t know there was a NAME for it bye

I’m now almost 47yrs old and have had the tall girl rounded shoulders all my life. I never knew what it was. As an older lady I’m begging you to take care of it in your younger years. It gets worse and I have the worse trap tightness and chest tightness now because of bad posture.

Lay on your belly and lift both arms to make a T, Y, and I. Do this daily 🙃

As a tall girl this has always been a huge fear of mine. I recommend adding yoga and/or mat Pilates to your routine - and consciously consider your posture! I promise it sounds easier than it is — tits up girls!

I have diagnosed with lipidema, lipedema, a pelvic tilt, and maybe hip dips and I’ve been spiraling the whole summer. I’m probably 36 hrs away from a plastic surgery consult for my entire body.

Okay I’m 5’2 so mine is from having huge bazoongas, but I’ve fixed it so let me help. You are going to want to strengthen your mid back muscles AND stretch your chest muscles. Chest is super tight from overcompensating and mid back is super weak from not doing a damn thing. I started with focusing on squeezing my shoulder blades together for like a minute at a time. Hurts but also feels so good!

My physical therapist told me I have a touch of scoliosis. I’m like nah boo. Not scoliosis. Just a 5’11” girl in a world built for 5’4.”

I sit up & stand so tall because I’m super self conscious of being a hunched over 5’10” woman…so much that I get comments on it constantly [Snicker]
