@enigma6969696969: They thought getting married young and moving out was going to be all love, freedom, and happily ever after… 😂💀 Then REAL LIFE showed up. Their parents supported their decision, but they also warned them it wouldn’t be easy. Now that things are getting tough, Mom and Dad aren’t rushing in to fix everything. 😂 Sometimes the best way to learn about adult decisions is to actually LIVE with them. #YoungMarriage #AdultingIsHard #RelationshipHumor #LifeLessons #Relatable
Are we gonna ignore that a house cost them $80,000 😭😭 thats not even a down payment nowadays

nobody learns how to be INDEPENDENT by someone else doing it for them 👍

This is absolutely the most accurate representation of becoming an adult and recognizing responsibility. It took a moment, but he got there. His poor dad though, I know this is a show, but it's so true.

I miss this kind of tv. Even as a young person I enjoyed the lessons that were learned from watching these shows

The hill I’d die on. If his dad knows how to fix pipes. Why didn’t he pass that onto his son? If he didn’t teach him as he was growing up, can’t even give advice now? My dad was the same way. It’s another form of lazy parenting, in my view. Or that whole, I struggled so should you. I tell my younger friends the process at least. I’ll give you the tools, you have to pick them up and do it. That’s parenting, or mentorship. It doesn’t take away from the victory. Otherwise, coaches are the ones who win games?

Not having a father I watched so many Cory’s take advantage of their dads growing up and then continued to complain about their hard lives[Tears of joy] Now thankfully I’m raising one[Tears of joy]

Notice how the entitled attitude was shown as weakness back then and he’s proud for succeeding on his own? It still is weakness today but many more cling to it proudly today and blame others for their failures.

THIS is what messed up the younger generation. they didn't have these kinds of shows. they think our duty is to make life cake, when in reality that only hurts them.

If I do it for you you’ll never learn and always rely on me but you’re forgetting one day I won’t be around then what? Give a man he eats for a day but teach him how to fish he eats for a life time!!!
