@coachmontessori: Tell them what TO do, not only what NOT to do. 🤍 “Be careful” tells a child there might be a problem. “Don’t drop it” focuses their attention on dropping it. But “Hold it with two hands” gives them something much more useful: a clear action they can follow. We don’t need to constantly warn children about what might go wrong.
