@wonderfullifewithbedford: Teaching him to do hard things because of his physical limitations comes with its own challenges. His body can only “give” so much. Teaching him to do hard things despite the pressure to choose yourself all the time is hard, because we all battle this. Surround yourself with people who complain, you will become a complainer. Surround yourself with people who are angry, you will become angry. Surround yourself with people who belittle others, you will soon begin to do the same. Equally so, surround yourself with people who choose compassion, and you will choose compassion. Surround yourself with people who choose respect, and you will find it easier to give respect. The bigger, more convicting question, is this: When your name is brought up, are people wanting to be around you because of the fruit you display?
