You just don't have the eyes to see the difference, IPS and VA panels have really bad bloom especially with HDR content. I even noticed it with my laptop that had a QD-IPS which is basically QLED technology. Now if you have a Mini LED panel there's going to be a minimum to no difference, the only difference would be that you'd still have grey blacks like compared to the OLED which completely turns off pixels that aren't being used so it's true black.

The Samsung odyssey g5 oled is decent it was my first but there are some that have higher refresh rate around the same price so you could have gotten a 240hz oled instead

I had a 34 uw, 32, 27 flat and curved. Favorite is flat 32" and 27" I just this sick micro led 27"4k 160hz and switches to 350hz 1080p for my competitive games. The 3k and blacks look amazing like an oled but I dont have to worry about burnout.
