Yep corals handle cold but do not handle hot. They’ll tolerate down to 70s but once it’s over 82 they melt

If you don’t have a heater it’s a temperate tank,, but I didn’t know anemones could survive in water that cold?? I work at a pet shop with a fish section, so I’m always shocked at what ppl can get away with surviving in their tanks lol

just curious, since it’s saltwater would it harm cats if they were to drink it? I’ve always wanted that but I have an evil cat who sucks the water out of my tanks (I’ve had fresh water tanks for 7 years now and these past couple months are the first time he’s started doing it😞)

i run way too hot when i’m asleep so i fear id freeze the plants cause i leave the window open fan going during the winter but i plan to make insulation boxes when i start making bug terrariums cause i still really wanna make those and i feel that’s the only way ill be able to keep them through the winter
