ive often wondered, if a fighter incapacitates the opponent before the day of the fight, arent they penalize? since like, the promoters gave out huge sums in promoting ang planning this fight, and there wont be a fight if one side is incapacitated. i get it this is a taunting gimmick or a way to promote the fight. but yeah... ive really wondered about it

I blame the promoter for allowing it to happen. IF it happens before the actual fight, he is heavily fined, or he is disqualified and never fights again.
