For anyone wondering, no, this won't really boost your performance. It will help your 1% lows if you have bad stuttering in games, but the main thing it does is it helps you with privacy as well, and it will make Windows feel a little bit snappier. This is just an educated guess from a Linux user because I don't use Windows anymore.
