Saw the new Insidious in theaters - best one yet - along with One Night Only. Also enjoyed and I refer to it as the sex purge movie. 😂 Watched The Drama (so good!) and Mother Mary (not so good...)

Re: Ann Patchett - I loved Whistler, liked The Dutch House for character development, and I was so so SO disappointed by The Patron Saint of Liars. She writes so well that I will definitely read more.

My random movie recs to younger people (I’m 40) that they usually haven’t seen are… Boondock Saints (1999-Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery) and Poolhall Junkies (2002-Christoper Walken, Chazz Palminteri). They’re not cinematic masterpieces by any means, but I love them both 🥰
