@nina_angel_lacartier: As we are coming upon September 11th, my jaw dropped. Literally. As that exact thing happened to me. I was HER. The one every woman wanted to look at you a certain way at. Someone that would lay their life down for you. One that said: “if it isn’t you I’m going to keep re-enlisting till I die overseas and I am going to die over there.” This isn’t to be disrespectful to anyone at all especially his loved ones. There’s so much background there from him saving my life at a party with CPR, to being his support when he had a baby mother who was mentally ill and trapped him so to speak (she’s now in jail for manslaughter), to watching over Gabby until her passing for him (I’ve kicked myself over a million times over for it, as I wish she would’ve just called me, but we knew after your passing she would crumble and I won’t judge her for that!) To respecting everyone in our friend circle that I rejected you so the friendships weren’t destroyed. To having a week long drunk birthday week. To taking Hager shots just for you in remembrance if I ever go out. He died doing what he loved and he knew if he couldn’t get the girl or his dreams, he would die in a war fighting for her freedoms. Rest easy Mack! I just can’t believe I found our situation (amongst many I’m sure, because that’s love!) in a movie, to the T. In another life we got Hawaii. (Again, not to ever disrespect anyone as I chose to stay friends to respect everyone, please don’t ever do this!!!
