If you start reading the subtitles while watching a movie, the story may still be right in front of your eyes… but you miss the story. In the same way, when you put your previous knowledge of the Dhamma in front of you and try to understand this present moment, you may fail to see what is actually happening in this moment. Knowledge is necessary. But don’t let your knowledge cover up this moment. Don’t search for the Dhamma through knowledge… See the Dhamma through mindfulness. 🧘‍♂️ Be mindful. Satin Upattapethva
