So a clogged duct can be treated at home. Mastitis is an infection that requires antibiotics. Please get that checked out because that can turn into abscess if it goes untreated for too long

Sunflower lecithin and ibuprofen for the inflammation. Ice packs at all times (also for inflammation). Make sure your bra isn’t tight and keep milk moving.

Have your hubby suck it out ! Warm compress/ massage! I usually would take my Hakka into the shower with me. I’d also call since you almost have a temp they may need antibiotics at this point it changes fast

Ouch, ibuprofen and Ice are def a great thing. One thing that might sound weird but it might help, after a warm shower(let warm water hit the affected breast) ask hubby to suction for you. Or at the very least inspect your nipple, you might have a clogged pore and the pump might not be strong enough to get it. If you have a hand pump you can try, but I find it that your husbands help will be more effective.

My only tip, is to be seen by your primary care or OBGYN. Once the chills, fever, and horrible pain start, that’s an infection and should be treated with antibiotics. I also tried to get rid of it at home, but it was already too late and the fever was taking over. Once I got those antibiotics, I was a new person. But hand pump, rest and get those meds from a dr mama!

I used a hand pump to help pull clogs so I didn’t get mastitis. Highly recommend using a huka and epsomsalt and water upside down. It helps me a lot.

Heating pad and pumping every 2 hours. Dangle your melons downward and hand pump. That’s what I did.

I just got it last week as well. I had to go to the doctor and get a prescription for antibiotics. I have flu like symptoms for about 24 hours but start to feel better really after I got the clog out I did heat and used a massage gun on my breast to help break it up and then i try to use baby’s suction wasn’t enough I used my mobile pumps I hope you feel better. I have noticed it also cut down my supplies quite a bit in that breast, and I’m currently trying to rebuild it.
