I’m on day 4. Honestly it’s not that bad at all. I’ve been able to eat pasta and stuff since day 2 and I’m not swollen at all! Do your salt water swishes & ice ice ice ice!!! Keep opening your mouth asap after surgery it’ll help it stretch before it gets to stiff! You’ve got this!

I got all 4 removed on Wednesday (all impacted) I was under general anesthesia, so far it is BY FAR the easiest least painful surgery Ive ever had!! Im a bit swollen but have had almost not pain. I have a bleeding disorder so a lot of extra precautions were taken but its really been so easy. Ive been liking ice cream and milkshakes (no straw of course) also panera soups are great! I cant take NSAIDs so ive just been taking tylenol which has worked! Ive been icing regularly.

just make sure you take your medicine on time so you don’t feel pain, and icing!!! day 1 will be annoying with food day 2 pain will be horrible as long as your taking your medicine on time and icing! i’m on day so i can’t tell you any further but im feeling okay jus keeping up with medicine and ching

Just had mine done Tuesday and the worse part is the fear of something bad happening. Not bad at all. I’d rate day 1-2 a 3 out of 10 just sore. Then day 3 was a 7 day 4 back to a 3 day 5 which is today is a 2 out of 10. Don’t be scared you will be fine.

im 40. I did it 2 weeks ago. no issues! Just relax and you'll be fine. :) I got some clove ointment that was amazing! get your gauze wet before you put them on your back holes so it doesnt pull your stitches. mashed potatoes and blended pastini soup! was so yummy. had a happy meal burger and fries on day 4. brushed teeth 24 hours later. salt water rinse after you eat and a quick brush! a week after my removal i was in NYC eating normal and enjoying life! 2 weeks after lol.. I was back under for foot surgery. 😁😵💫 you'll be fine!

I got all four taken out this Tuesday I am on day four and I feel great there's no swelling and pain as long as you stay on top of your medication one tip: dont let you hunger take control I really wanted pizza and took one bite....BIG NO 🤣🤣🤣 but other than that you will be just fine

drink pineapple juice everyday before your appointment!! i did this so i wouldn’t swell up as much

Recovery really shouldn’t be too bad. Sleep with your head elevated for the first few of nights. Eat applesauce, eggs, mashed potatoes and soup (it has to cooled down a lot before). Take you pain meds. You got this 💪

I got sedated cause I was scared! I had two bottom impacted tooths, but I had an awesome hygienist and dental surgeon. They provided a syringe for cleaning your gums so they don’t get infected/dry sockets. Be super proactive esp after eating! I also been prescribed antibiotics, ibuprofen and hydrocodone before surgery day! Ice it a lot and definitely get soft foods and smoothies to have. Good luck!!! 🥺🙏🏼

had all 4 removed last year and it was the most miserable time of my life, couldnt talk for 3-5 days and couldn't eat anything besides mashed potatoes and jello for about a month. def ice as much as you can, stay on top of your pain killers, and don't drink from straws. good luck!

I’m on week three i can eat solids again but I use my front teeth mainly protein shakes are your best friend I took off a week from work for it swelling does happy

Day 2. I got mine out at 9am yesterday. I was awake and only had a 2mg Ativan and numbing meds. Ativan made me so tired that I just didn’t gaf and could only think of the fat nap I wanted afterwards lol Was fine except I was dripping blood even with the gauzes for a bit and had a little bit of dry heaving cuz the gauze was too close to my gag reflex 😪 I’ve taken two doses of 600mg of ibuprofen and been icing when I can. It’s been almost 24 hours and there’s a small amount of swelling in my cheeks, which usually gets better after ice and ibuprofen, I’m just late on my dose cuz I didn’t wanna wake in the middle of the night lol and I’m a little nauseous (prob from swallowing bits of blood. No biggie). I’m able to talk and open my mouth normally I’m just trying to figure out food now. Had some applesauce and it tastes really bitter or metallic, plus the general taste of blood 🥲 my biggest concern rn is just dry socket and infection 🥲😬

I’m on day 3. Worst experience ever!!!!! I was the same way thinking i don’t want people to tell me anything bad ?? Then you go in expecting a “not so bad” surgery. IT IS THAT BAD! There is no tip or advice you can get from someone to get through this lol just be strong!!

I'm on day 3, I don't have constant pain, just sharp pain for a second here and there twice a day. a little swollen. I was so anxious before, anxious w on my way there and although I'm not suffering like most, I'm still so anxious. I don't know why..

I got all 4 removed and developed ulcers on one side on day 3 they said it’s normal due to the trauma 😭😩 in so much pain can barely open on my mouth day 4
