Also where are y’all located? Lots of churches have foster closets to help with what you need. Foster long is so unpredictable so don’t go overboard buying too much before your placement! The amount of girl clothes we have we didn’t use (yet) is WILD. We were not prepared for newborn anytime also because we didn’t think we’d get a baby right off the bat and then BOOM…

When I started fostering, I was encouraged to open my home for respite and emergency for kids elementary age and below. it was an extraordinary opportunity to begin to understand how many kids need support. And how much I could enjoy kids of all different ages
