@salmo91fe1: 25 years later, New York still remembers. As September 11 approaches, there are places in this city that remind you to stop for a moment. At the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan, the names of nearly 3,000 people are inscribed around the two reflecting pools where the Twin Towers once stood. Nearby, the Survivor Tree still grows, a living symbol of resilience after surviving the attacks and being nursed back to health. This year marks 25 years since September 11, 2001. A quarter of a century later, New York remembers the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage shown that day and in the days that followed. We remember. We honor.
