5 habits below 👇 Save this, so you don't forget! I often see people (me included) struggling to get through long days at work and wonder how it's even possible to find time to have "fun" when it's just more effort... Well, this is for you: the 5 habits I've learned that will make joy feel effortless again. 1. Don't think too hard If you're like me, this part's the hardest. Before I do anything, my brain wants a whole game plan for every possible scenario. But joy doesn't really work that way — half the fun is in the spontaneity you didn't plan for. So just start. You don't need the whole bucket list figured out first. 2. Start small Joy comes in all shapes and sizes — big and small. So don't stress about knocking out the craziest thing on your bucket list first. Start with the small stuff — the five-minute pockets of happiness already sitting in your day. Could be as simple as a warm cup of coffee, or a cool breeze on a summer afternoon. 3. Slow and steady is OK, no pressure! You might be like me — I've got a long list of things I want to do, and it just keeps growing, so it's easy to feel like I'm behind. But this isn't a race. Go at your own pace, as long as you're making progress and actually finding those little pockets of happiness along the way. 4. Take pictures and document! I'm genuinely terrible at remembering to take pictures, but it matters more than I give it credit for. We get older, memories fade — but pictures stuck around, and they're what actually help you remember the joy you found. 5. Stay the course, in good times and bad Life's never smooth sailing, and it can hit in the worst ways. But, it's on us to roll with it and keep finding our way back to happiness. Two things have helped me the most: looking back at the good times I've had (pictures are handy!), and looking at everything still on my list to look forward to. That's honestly what keeps me going. I hope this helps you find more joy in your life. I'll be cheering you on — and please follow along, as I'm figuring it out right alongside you! #worklifebalance #personalgrowth #choosejoy #bucketlist #thereisawill
