I am from the Netherlands, at that day i was 21 years old. even here in our country we felt it, i was at work when somebody came and said there was a plane that hit one of the world trade center tower. i couldnt believe it untill i saw the horror on the television. it was a pitch black day for the whole world at that day, also from here. today we wil remember to all of the people who died in this tradigy and also for all the families who have to carry this weight, still after 25 years. never forget!! to all of you lots of love and strength today.❤️❤️

I was 9 living in upstate NY about 45 mins outside the city. School went on lockdown and we all got shoved into the cafeteria and would not let anyone out. Teachers were frantic. No one would tell us (the students) what was wrong. Then kids were all of a sudden getting picked up. My grandparents picked up my sister and I and that is when I learned what happened. There were so many classmates that had lost family members either in the towers or were firefighters/EMT heros. I will never forget this day. For all of the families affected by this day, I am so sorry and you are in my thoughts today.

I was 26 years old standing in a store watching the TV and my boss said "there's another plane coming in" and we all watched that second plane hit and it was complete silence in the store for like 5 minutes. we all realized at that moment America was under attack.

I was 10, I got home from school and remember seeing the 2nd plane hit live on the news, my mum was crying. I didnt understand what was happening. it makes me feel sick to my stomach to imagine the pure fear of everyone in those towers 😪

I was at home as a 6 year old with my siblings, and remember my mom watching the TV in shock and she told us no school today. I didn't understand what was happening and remember cheering "yay! no school!" and she yelled at us that it wasn't a good thing. I couldn't comprehend the horror until I was older.
