@latifah.2426: Sometimes we get so busy chasing this dunya that we forget why Allah created us in the first place. We were not created merely to accumulate wealth, build houses, get married, raise children, or become successful in the eyes of people. Allah says: “And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” (Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51:56) We were created to know Allah, worship Him, obey Him, and return to Him. One day, everything we are chasing will be left behind. Our wealth, possessions, status and even the people we love will remain in this dunya. But our Salah, Qur’an, Dhikr, Sadaqah and every sincere act of worship will go with us. May Allah never allow the dunya to distract us from the purpose for which He created us. Ameen.
