What was the moment you knew dachshunds had completely stolen your heart? ❤️ For me, it was the very first moment I met Toby. Something just clicked. These little dogs are so smart, so stubborn, and so full of personality that it really is like having another child. Those sweet wrinkly faces, those tiny wrinkly legs, the long ears, and those huge personalities…how could anyone not fall completely in love with them? But there is something about this breed that goes even deeper for me. Dachshunds aren’t just dogs in our home. They are family. They make us laugh, test our patience, follow us everywhere, and somehow know exactly when we need them the most. I love all dogs, but for me personally, there will never be another breed besides dachshunds. They are everything to me. Toby started that love, and Cherished Dachshunds grew from it.
